Team BuildingThere is a number of different ways to strengthen your team. Going out for some off-site activity is known as one of most successful ways of getting team to know each other in relaxed environment. Chose one or few for your annual team building event!
Safari challenge?
Team split in to number of cars following each other faces different kinds of off-road challenges. Such as – fallen trees, flood damaged roads, mud, rivers and a lot more. Following recommendations given by instructor team must achieve goal of challenge, which is to reach destination. Safari challenge is available as self driven or professional driven. In a self drive B category driver license for at least one of the team members is a pre-requisite.
Checkpoints?
Checkpoint challenge takes place in a different areas following a printed map of area. Team consists of 2-4 persons which at the beginning of challenge would receive a map with checkpoints to find. Team has to take care of reading map, driving SUV and taking decisions. Checkpoints are located in different areas and has different levels of difficulty. Each team will be assisted by a professional instructor able to assist with SUV handling as well as a reading map.
Legend?
Team follows pre-writen instructions (legend) which has details for succesfull completion of task. Legend consists of directions, distances and special remarks of area. Following instructions team can reach finish of distance which is unknown. Team has to carefully read instructions, take decisions of distance, direction, speed and tactics. Each team consists of 2-4 members. Each team will be assisted by a professional instructor able to assist with SUV handling as well as a reading map.
Do you trust me?
Special task. Driver of the car has his eyes covered and makes sure there is no chance to see a road in front of the car. Another team member sitting in a passenger seat is guiding “blind” driver through ready made track making as less mistakes as possible.
How about getting all a bit more complex?
All challenges are combined in to a special competition combined with some additional requirements. For example trying to reach checkpoint by car as close as possible making sure that checkpoint, car and a team member fit in to one picture. On top of this checkpoint location can be given as a GPS coordinates thus driving a team building event close to a real trophy raid competition.

All challenges discussed earlier fit in a single day program which will become an unforgettable experience. Time control, mistakes, tactics, etc. Such activities will make your team a lot stronger in day to day work by letting to know each other a lot better than before. It has a very positive influence in your office relationships among colleagues.
